John LaGrace, Beta Lambda (Tampa) to Run Boston Marathon for Charity

On April 16th, 2018, John will be running the 122nd Boston Marathon for charity. It will be his first time running the Boston Marathon and his 2nd time running a marathon.

He will be raising money and running the marathon for the Brigham & Women's Gillian Reny Stepping Strong Trauma Center. The BWH Stepping Stone Center was formed after the Boston Marathon Bombings and has a mission of transforming outcomes for civilian and military heroes worldwide who have suffered devastating traumatic injuries.

In February of this year, Beta Lambda lost one of their brothers due to a traumatic injury in a snowboarding accident, which lead to the support of this organization.

"My goal is to assist The Gillian Reny Stepping Strong Trauma Center in their efforts to turn tragedy into hope for families and individuals daily," said John.
