Matt Walderson Thirty 30 040517

Matt is an electrical engineer from purdue. He is currently working at Edwards Air Force base with NASA. He works on the electronic telemetry for the planes which is a fancy way of saying the wireless communications for them. Most recently he implemented a new system that will allow the vehicle sensors to communicate more data with less bandwidth. His team is also working on the other projects like the X-57 Electric Research Plane (seen below).

"People are not having trouble coming up with how they could put the new system to use,” Waldersen explained. “Having more data allows researchers to do what they do better. Everyone at the sessions agreed the technology is worth pursuing. You know a project is a success when you take questions from engineers like, ‘have you considered using it for this case, or could we do this with it?’”.
